Succession Planning Audit
A succession planning (diversity) audit tool for Governors from the National College for Teaching and Leadership
This audit tool is designed to support school governors in:
- raising levels of awareness around diversity and equality in relation to succession planning, and the recruitment, development and retention of all staff.
- understanding the importance of ensuring that the school workforce is fit for purpose and reflects the diverse nature of the environments and communities the children in our schools come from, and
- carrying out their strategic function through ensuring school leadership teams (SLTs) implement effective strategy, policy, practice and planning in order to achieve diversity and equality in the school and centre workforce.
